But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
JESUS CHRIST our RISEN LORD suffered harshly for us. In america, as we wake up each morning, eat breakfast, watch the news, go to school or work, we tend to get comfortable with our lives and forget at what price we are saved. We say we are Christians and that we're saved. We go to church, sing songs, say amen and go home. America has blinded the truth and reality as to what is happening to Christians all around the world. As you walk comfortably out of your church, in some Asian, African or Middel Eastern country a Christian Brother or Sister is being hacked, burn, beheaded or beaten to death in the name of JESUS CHRIST and for their Testimony for the WORD OF GOD. And sadly, people in america think it'll never happen to them and don't even seem to care.
I ask myself this one vital question: If JESUS CHRIST my RISEN LORD had to suffer and die for me to be saved, then who am I to pray to escape persecution? Should not I count myself privileged to suffer in the name of JESUS CHRIST as HE suffered for me? JESUS CHRIST did not hesitate to be wounded, hurt, stripped and hung on the Cross to die for me. HIS LOVE for you and me placed HIM on the Cross. Where does our love for HIM place us?
Are we so comfortable with our lives, our homes, our work, that we just ignore the Price at which we were saved? Do we bow down to the governments when they say you cannot speak about GOD at work, in school, or else where? Do we say Amen at church and then walk in weakness and bow down to a country that has forsaken GOD and has become abominations? JESUS CHRIST our RISEN LORD did not do these things. HE went boldly to JERUSALEM, knowing what awaited HIM. HE went alone to the CROSS and defeated the CROSS through pain, hurt, suffering and death. As the world cast JESUS CHRIST out, HE saved the world.
So the next time you wake up, make your coffee, eat breakfast, and go to work, look around, look at people, look at america, and truly ask yourself do you see GOD anywhere? You see smut magazines in check out lines, filthy movies, corrupt television, demented music, all around, but where is GOD in america? If you say JESUS CHRIST is your LORD and SAVIOR, should we not be seeking GOD through HIM? Should we not be seeking the ways of JESUS CHRIST our RISEN LORD, not matter what persecution takes place? Is your walk with JESUS CHRIST only in church and not the world? Because JESUS CHRIST love for you was before the WORLD on a CROSS.
Do you accept a country that denies the LORD, allows the murder of unborn children, unholy marriages, abominations, filth, and corruption, rebels against GOD'S HOLY WORD, yet calls itself the greatest nation on earth? Do you hide inside your church walls and say amen and then bow down to this corruptness? Are you scared to face persecution?
People in China risk their lives to attend underground churches to worship GOD through JESUS CHRIST our RISEN LORD. Would you if it came down to that in america? Where is your voice? Where is your faith? Where is your truth?
JESUS CHRIST our RISEN LORD healed and saved us through HIS pain, wounds, suffering and death. HE alone reconciled us to the FATHER. If you had to face what JESUS CHRIST our RISEN LORD did for a drug addict, drunk, murderer, thief, would you? Would you leave your family as JESUS CHRIST left Heaven, and die for those who were lost and who would persecute you? To become complacent in life is a horrible danger because we forget at what Price we are saved and who suffered that price: JESUS CHRIST our RISEN LORD.
If you think you can get to Heaven nice and clean, unharmed and without a bruise, then perhaps you need to reevaluated your relationship with JESUS CHRIST. Remember, we are sent our as lambs to the slaughter. If we hide behind our complacency, then we achieve nothing but cowardliness. What if JESUS CHRIST did not go to the CROSS? What if our LORD AND SAVIOR remained in Nazareth, found a comfortable home and job and left saving the world up to someone else? HE did not. HE boldly went to the CROSS with the PUREST OF LOVE for you and me and suffered the price.
If you are not willing to face persecution in the name of JESUS CHRIST our RISEN LORD to the GLORY OF GOD our HEAVENLY FATHER, if you hide behind your life in a corrupt country that denies GOD, then you need to pray.
JESUS CHRIST our RISEN LORD did not go to the CROSS in a tie and suit. HE went with a crown of thorns.
Do you walk around with clean hands or are you carrying your sign that has been battered that yells: JESUS CHRIST IS LORD WORLD and I'll face what I must for my RISEN LORD JESUS CHRIST, for HE IS MY LORD AND SAVIOR!!! Or are you just to weak and scared to let your voice be heard for JESUS CHRIST our RISEN LORD, our MESSIAH who saved us on the CROSS.
GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST, AMEN!!!
