Ft. Gordon, GA

I served as a Chaplain's Assistant at Dwight. D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center while I was in the Army. I was 22 then. Those days were full of times that were different for me. Many things took place there, some good, some bad. I was raised in Georgia and expected to get stationed somewhere outside of Georgia and was amazed when I got stationed four hours from home. I never deployed with the 249th M.A.S.H field unit I was assigned to outside of Eisenhower. My entire time was spent being a Hospital Chaplain's Assistant. I never felt as if I were in the Army, then. I was in when 9/11 took place. I came out when my mother's health failed her due to a heart attack. I know the LORD has HIS reasons, and although I couldn't understand them then, I do now. My life took many twist and turns, which in the end, lead me to my wife. But there are times when I miss that Hospital, and my time there. Seems almost ghostly, now, to think back on it. Now that hospital seems more like a ghost ship than a real place. Amazing how things we go through appear to us later. Being a solider was important to me, then, though. Now, being a soldier for the LORD is the toughest thing in my life.

Fan Fiction Stories

I have decided to write a fan fiction story each week and post them, along with a photo. This will allow you to see my different writing styles as well as enjoyable, clean reading that isn't vulgar. My blog is Christian.
