Disproving False Doctrines and Teachings

 

 

We are going to examine and disprove many false doctrines and teachings that are taught in the Christian denominations.

 

Catholic denomination:

Praying to Mother Mary:

 Luke Ch 11:

1 One time Yeshua was in a certain place praying. As he finished, one of the talmidim said to him, "Sir, teach us to pray, just as Yochanan taught his talmidim."

2 He said to them, "When you pray, say: `Father, May your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come.

3 Give us each day the food we need.

4 Forgive us our sins, for we too forgive everyone who has wronged us. And do not lead us to hard testing.'" 

 

YESHUA did not teach HIS Talmidim to pray to Mary. YESHUA'S Talmidim would never have taught anyone to pray to Mary. YESHUA taught to pray to our FATHER in Heaven only. 

Blessed Virgin Mary?

 

Luke Ch 11: 

27 As Yeshua was saying these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice to call out, "How blessed is the mother that gave birth to you and nursed you from her breast!"

28 But he said, "Far more blessed are those who hear the word of God and obey it!" 

 

Mary is blessed. The Bible clearly states that in Luke Ch 1

 

 48 who has taken notice of his servant-girl in her humble position. For -- imagine it! -- from now on, all generations will call me blessed! 

 

 However, YESHUA teaches in Luke Ch 11: 28  people who hear the WORD of G-D and obey it are more blessed than Mary.

Praying to a statue?

Exodus Ch 20:

4 You are not to make for yourselves a carved image or any kind of representation of anything in heaven above, on the earth beneath or in the water below the shoreline.

5 You are not to bow down to them or serve them; for I, ADONAI your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sins of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 

 

You do not pray to a carved image. No one has any idea what Mary looked like. We are not taught to pray to her. Doing so is not of G-D. 

Virgin Mary?

Matthew Ch 12:

46 He was still speaking to the crowd when his mother and brothers appeared outside, asking to talk with him. 

 

Mary had other children after YESHUA. She was not a Virgin.  She was a woman who had other children and began a family which is noble and honorable. 

These are a few of the false doctrines and teachings in the catholic denomination that need to be exposed and done away with. They are not Biblical.

Age of Grace? (dispensations)

Malachi Ch 3:

6 "But because I, ADONAI, do not change, you sons of Ya'akov will not be destroyed. 

 

Hebrews Ch 13:

 

 8 Yeshua the Messiah is the same yesterday, today and forever. 

 

There is no 'Age of Grace'. There is no 'Dispensations'. 

 

Isaiah Ch 46:

 

10 At the beginning I announce the end, proclaim in advance things not yet done; and I say that my plan will hold, I will do everything I please to do. 

 

From the very beginning when G-D created the Heavens and the earth HIS Perfect Will was established. G-D's Will isn't broken down into ages or dispensations. Those are false teachings that cause rebellion against G-D'S Holy Torah. 

The Church was born at Pentecost

Acts Ch 2

5 Now there were staying in Yerushalayim religious Jews from every nation under heaven.

6 When they heard this sound, a crowd gathered; they were confused, because each one heard the believers speaking in his own language.

7 Totally amazed, they asked, "How is this possible? Aren't all these people who are speaking from the Galil?

8 How is it that we hear them speaking in our native languages?

9 We are Parthians, Medes, Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Y'hudah, Cappadocia, Pontus, Asia,

10 Phrygia, Pamphylia, Egypt, the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome;

11 Jews by birth and proselytes; Jews from Crete and from Arabia. . . ! How is it that we hear them speaking in our own languages about the great things God has done?" 

 

There wasn't a single Gentile present on the day of Shavout (not Pentecost). Shavout is a commanded Feast of G-D in which all Jews are required to appear before HIM in Yerushalayim. The Jews didn't even associate with the Gentiles. We don't even read about a Jew (Peter) appearing to a gentile until Acts Ch 10. 

Acts Ch 10

28 He said to them, "You are well aware that for a man who is a Jew to have close association with someone who belongs to another people, or to come and visit him, is something that just isn't done. But God has shown me not to call any person common or unclean; 

 

Nothing was 'Born' on Shavout. The RUACH HaChodesh was given to the Jews and later to the gentiles through the Jews.

We are under the New Covenant and not the law

 

 Hebrews Ch 8

8 For God does find fault with the people when he says, "'See! The days are coming,' says ADONAI, 'when I will establish over the house of Isra'el and over the house of Y'hudah a new covenant.

9 "'It will not be like the covenant which I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by their hand and led them forth out of the land of Egypt; because they, for their part, did not remain faithful to my covenant; so I, for my part, stopped concerning myself with them,' says ADONAI.

10 "'For this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Isra'el after those days,' says ADONAI: 'I will put my Torah in their minds and write it on their hearts; I will be their God, and they will be my people. 

 

Romans Ch 3

 

 31 Does it follow that we abolish Torah by this trusting? Heaven forbid! On the contrary, we confirm Torah. 

 

Leviticus Ch 24

22 You are to apply the same standard of judgment to the foreigner as to the citizen, because I am ADONAI your God." 

 

What is sin? 

 

1 John Ch 3

 

 4 Everyone who keeps sinning is violating Torah - indeed, sin is violation of Torah. 

 

Without Torah there would be no sin and therefore we would not see a Savior. But we all need a Savior--YESHUA MESSIAH, the SON of G-D.

 

Romans Ch 5

 

 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in that the Messiah died on our behalf while we were still sinners. 

 

 Sunday Sabbath? 

Genesis Ch 2

3 God blessed the seventh day and separated it as holy; because on that day God rested from all his work which he had created, so that it itself could produce. 

 

The Seventh Day is Holy. Not the first day of the week which is called Sunday. 

A Gentile Calendar is as follows:

Sunday         Monday         Tuesday         Wednesday        Thursday           Friday         Saturday

Day 1             Day 2            Day 3              Day 4                 Day 5                 Day 6         Day 7

 

 

Even the Gentile calendar tells you what the first day of the week is (Sunday) and what the seventh day of the week is (Saturday). 

 

 

 

 The catholics changed the Sabbath from the 7th day to the 1st day

Why do Christians deny G-D's True Shabbat/Sabbath and keep the catholic sabbath? 

 

We are Gentles. G-D deals with the Jews differently

 

Romans  Ch 11

 

 

17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and you - a wild olive - were grafted in among them and have become equal sharers in the rich root of the olive tree,

18 then don't boast as if you were better than the branches! However, if you do boast, remember that you are not supporting the root, the root is supporting you. 

 

Ephesians Ch 2

 

 19 So then, you are no longer foreigners and strangers. On the contrary, you are fellow-citizens with God's people and members of God's family.

 

Revelation Ch 21

 

 12 It had a great, high wall with twelve gates; at the gates were twelve angels; and inscribed on the gates were the names of the twelve tribes of Isra'el. 

 

(There is no 13th gate for the gentiles. What gate will you enter through if you, the gentile, are separate from the Jew?)  

The Gentile Church has replaced the Jews in G-D's Plan

John Ch 4

 

 22 You people don't know what you are worshiping; we worship what we do know, because salvation comes from the Jews. 

 

(salvation does not come from the gentiles)

 

 

 Zechariah Ch 8

23 ADONAI-Tzva'ot says, 'When that time comes, ten men will take hold - speaking all the languages of the nations - will grab hold of the cloak of a Jew and say, "We want to go with you, because we have heard that God is with you." 

 

Isaiah Ch 2

 

 3 Many peoples will go and say, "Come, let's go up to the mountain of ADONAI, to the house of the God of Ya'akov! He will teach us about his ways, and we will walk in his paths." For out of Tziyon will go forth Torah, the word of ADONAI from Yerushalayim. 

 

The gentiles will never replace the Jews for the gentiles are grafted in through the Jews.

These are some (but not all) of the false doctrines and teachings that need to be brought into the Light of G-D's Truth and be destroyed. The choice is yours to search the truth in G-D's Holy Word or remain deceived by the teachings of man made denominations.
